Hi Maria, congratulations on 300 subs, you're flying! Also well done for keeping your expenses low and spending more time outdoors - we are having a couple of sunny days here in Ireland and people look happier!
Are you finding since starting your public financial journey that you are achieving your financial goals more or less? I spent Christmas week in NYC and failed to go out for drinks. I did get a glass of wine and hit up several coffeeshops. I'm curious what the price of cocktails are where you frequent. No judgement from me on the amount you spend getting drinks. I think it's absolutely fantastic actually and am a little jealous of the vibe.
I think I’m way more conscious of what I’m spending now that I track it with these monthly resets! So I spend my money more intentionally now. For drinks going out, beer is typically $8-10 (some better deals for happy hours) and cocktails it depends, $13-14 at a less expensive spot and $20+ at a fancier spot.
Thanks! And I also debated it for a while. I thought it wouldn't work for my building (which maybe in the past was true), but now it works for any building - I pay my rent through an online portal, but it works with Zelle or check or whatever. I honestly applied for the card on a whim after seeing it everywhere and realizing it would work for my building now but now I love it! Planning to book a flight later this year with points from it, so I see it as free money (I wasn't getting any points for paying rent before because I paid by bank transfer). Also there's no annual fee (I don't have any cards with annual fees) so it's pretty low risk to join!
A power hour! Like a video with 60 songs for a pregame, but I picked all really unique things my sister will love. She loves power hours (like the Revelry ones on Youtube)
Congratulations on your subscriber growth rate!! And on keeping expenses low this month 💪🏼
Thank you!! We'll see if the expenses stay as low next month haha

I've been seriously considering getting a BILT card, especially since I'm a renter. What made you decide to go for it?
Always look forward to reading your monthly resets! xx

I do appreciate the fact that there's no annual fee. Thanks for sharing!
Ooh what were the thrifty gifts you made?
