This post is such a great reminder that tracking your spending doesn’t have to mean restricting yourself—it’s about making choices that align with your values. Your approach is so inspiring, and I admire how you’re avoiding lifestyle creep while still enjoying what makes you happy!
My coffee spending used to be way higher! Honestly it dropped when I cut out caffeine (decaf coffee doesn't taste as good and I don't need the pick me up as much anymore), which was totally a personal choice and not doable for everyone
I live in a prewar apartment and don’t pay for heat. I think it’s low because it’s pretty energy efficient and small. It’s lower than most people I know so I feel like I got lucky with the apartment being energy efficient!
Yeah that’s separate! With my tracker I track all my spending, I don’t have a savings category right now (I do save, but it’s just whatever’s leftover right now, maybe not as intentional as I’d like)
Wow, you got Beyoncé tickets, congrats! Glad to hear you are enjoying your new job
Thanks! :)

Thank you!
Makes me realise I really need to lower my coffee out spend! Cool insights.

Love your transparency as always but can I ask how your ConEdison bill is so low?!

Jealous!! Makes sense!
I noticed that you don't have a savings category. Do you track that seperately? Or
