Another one would be: "Maximize the usage on what you already have". For example, IF you already have Amazon Prime (I am not saying you should get it because that defeats the purpose), then check out all the perks that come with it. For example, they have a huge library of books you can read for free! I haven't spent money on books in years. And it makes me feel good to use that subscription fully. I am sure there are other types of subscriptions or memberships that we only partially use and where we are only aware of half of the perks that come with them.

This is a good point!! Same idea that renters insurance can cover some things you wouldn’t expect, like theft outside the home

Love this! It reminds me that I need to check Spotify more often for audiobooks — if you have a premium membership you get a ton of audiobooks included!

That's awesome!! I don't have Spotify premium but if I ever decide to get it, then I'll make sure to remember that.

I save so much money shopping at the fruit stand in my neighborhood! My other tip is haircuts at beauty schools, it’s a significant savings especially if you get your hair cut often.

I always cut my tubes open! A friend called me cheap and I was just like, I paid for this. Why would I throw out two days worth of product?

But don’t buy expensive bags at all. They might be the biggest scam ever invented.
